It looks like the disagreement between actor Ranveer Singh and actor-director Farhan Akhtar has finally been resolved. The conflict arose after Ranveer unexpectedly left the production of Don 3, the third film in the series that Farhan was set to direct. A report stated that Ranveer has agreed to return the signing fee of ₹10 crores to Farhan's company, Excel Entertainment. Additionally, to make up for the money they spent on preparation, he has offered a share in his upcoming movie, which is currently called Pralay, although the specific percentage of the stake has not been disclosed yet.

The trouble began when Ranveer Singh walked away from Don 3 after the release of Dhurandhar in December 2025. Farhan was not happy with this decision and, as per several reports, he escalated the situation by involving the Producers Guild of India. During a meeting with Guild members, which Farhan and his business partner Ritesh Sidhwani attended, it was claimed that around ₹40 crores had already been used by Excel for the early work on Don 3, and that Ranveer had approved the script at every stage. On his part, he claimed that Farhan had delayed Don 3 because of Ranveer's decline in his career at that time. The Guild suggested that they settle the matter peacefully instead of heading to court.
