
Denver is set to host the Make Music Day festival,a free one-day outdoor festival celebrating music and music-making.The annual event is scheduled to be held on June 21.
All types of performances from classical to punk rock will took place in the streets,plazas,on porches and parks.The music festival also features “Mass Appeals,” that involves musicians of all levels to make music in large.
Make Music Day festival will be hosted in over 35 U.S. Cities.The program highlights include Sousapaloozas in Cleveland, New York and Chicago.
Composer Philip Glass is expected to play the piano in Riverside Park along with 19 students from the public schools.
Other participating cities of the United States, includes, Washington, D.C, Tennessee, Philadelphia, Boston, Nashville, Seattle, Denver, Detroit, Chattanooga, Tennessee, St. Louis, Missouri and Minneapolis.
The festival was started during 1982 in France and now is being celebrated in nearly 120 countries.
